Diabetes: Cinnamon Ice Tea
Cold cinnamon tea can be made easily in your refrigerator. The benefits are that cinnamon helps lower blood sugar.
Use about a 2 1/2 quart (about 2 liter) refrigerator juice container. Put about 2 teaspoons of powdered cinnamon in the bottom. Add 6 tea bags of your preferred tea. I mix black tea and green tea when I do this.
Fill the container with very hot tap water. Put the container into the refrigerator and let it cool to the refrigerator temperature. Probably takes about 4-5 hours to cool...
